05 — how it goes
From a phone call to a site that's looked after.

Do I really own the site?
Yes. The pages, the pictures and the code are yours, and you can download a full copy from your panel whenever you like. If you ever leave, you take it with you. The contact form, the live opening hours and the panel itself are part of the hosting, so those stay here.
What does the $350 actually get me?
One of the six designs set up in your colours with your logo; your photos, wording, hours and services put in; your own domain connected with the padlock (https) sorted; and a draft on a private address to look at before anyone else sees it.
What if I want something none of the designs cover?
Then it's made to order: the $350 plus the hours it takes at $50 an hour. You get an estimate before any work starts, and nothing beyond it is billed without asking.
I already have a domain, or a website.
Good. We point your domain at the new site when you say go, and your old site keeps running until then. Moving wording and photos across from an old site starts at $150, or you can send them over and it's included.
What happens to my email?
Nothing. Only the website part of your domain changes; email keeps working exactly as it does now.
How do changes work?
On Hosting you change hours, notices, photos and text yourself from simple forms, and small fixes are done for you. On Managed you just say what you want, in the panel or by text, and it's done within two business days. Bigger jobs are quoted by the hour first.
Can I cancel?
Any time, with a month's notice. The site is yours, so you can download it and take it elsewhere.
Where does it live?
On a server we run, with a copy taken every night and a check every five minutes that the site is answering. We look after it as carefully as we reasonably can, though no website can promise it will never go wrong.
